Label identity for music producer Joyride

Concept

This identity draws heavily from UK car culture around the turn of the century. I took inspiration from the design of car badges, the kind that sit on the back of a vehicle indicating engine type, trim level, or other features. Combined with mis-scanned typography, the result is a distinctive look that captures the late-90s and early-00s sound.
